CB195 - Company Period Close
Run CB195 (Company Period Close) at the end of each accounting period for
companies that have system control selected in the Lawson General Ledger
system. Before you run this program, make sure you have run CB175 (Bank
Transaction Posting).
CB195 edits cash ledger transaction dates to make sure all transactions have
been transferred to the general ledger for the period being closed. If a
transaction date exists that has not been transferred to the general ledger,
an exception report is created listing the transactions. When all transactions
have been transferred, this program updates system control with the next valid
date range and allows the general ledger to be closed for the period.
