GL08.1 - Organization Relationship
Use GL08.1 (Organization Relationship) to identify a relationship between the
information you are converting from your non-Lawson system with a specific
company in the Lawson General Ledger system. The organization code is the name
that identifies the information from your non-Lawson system.
GL62.1 (AU Attribute Interface Maint) GL65.1 (Transaction Interface
Maintenance), GL67.1 (Balance Interface Maintenance), and FB65.1 (Budget
Interface Maintenance) use this organization relationship to convert
information. When you convert data, the system uses this relationship to store
company information in the Lawson system.
Note: Before you use this program, you must define a company in GL10.1
(Company) and an accounting unit in GL20.1 (Accounting Units - Accounts). See
those forms for additional information.
Choose the Multiple Entry button to open GL08.2 (Organization Relationships).
Use this subform to define multiple organization relationships at the same
time.
You can run GL208 (Organization Relationship Listing) to list all
organization relationships. Use the list to review information and make any
necessary changes before conversion.
