GL100 - Mass Chart Acct Change Delete
Use GL100 (Mass Chart Acct Change Delete) to change or delete multiple detail
accounts for a chart of accounts. This program does not change summary account
values; it only changes detail account values. This program overrides account
options in GL00.1 (Chart of Accounts).
* To delete multiple accounts, only define parameters in the Action form tab.
* To change multiple accounts, identify accounts in the Action for tab and
select parameters in the Detail Account Change and Additional Account Change
form tabs.
IMPORTANT: Once you delete accounts, they cannot be recovered.
The change options you select in the Detail Account Change and Additional
Account Change form tabs affect all accounts identified in the Action form
tab.
For example, you select account range 1000 through 2000 in the Action form
tab. In the Detail Account Change form tab, you choose to change all Inactive
accounts to Active and select to Allow Units for all accounts. Account 1100
may already be active, so that change option is ignored. However, if account
1100 does not allow units, that change is made.
