Person Responsible This field contains the name of the
person responsible for the accounting

Posting Flag This field indicates whether the posting
flag is Posting (P) or Summary (S).
Posting accounting units must have a
chart of accounts associated with them.
P = Posting
S = Summary
GAU-ACTIVE-STATUS Alpha 1 GL14.1 GL14.8
Status This field indicates whether the
accounting unit is Active (A) or
Inactive (I). If Inactive, no posting
can be done to the accounting unit.
A = Active
I = Inactive

Chart Name This field contains the name of the
chart of accounts associated with the
accounting unit.
GAU-CHART-SECTION Alpha 1 GL14.1 GL14.8
Chart Section This field contains the chart of
accounts section associated with the
accounting unit. Valid values are:
Blank = All
1 = Balance sheet
2 = Income statement
GAU-CURRENCY-CODE Alpha 5 GL14.1 GL14.8
Currency Code This field contains the currency code
assigned to the accounting unit.
