The Match Elements file contains the definition of matching elements. Match
elements are defined in MA00.2 (Elements).

Matching Element The name of the matching element.
MAE-DATA-TYPE Alpha 1 MA00.2
Data Type Data type. Determines how the data is
entered and how to edit it. Valid values
are:
A = Alphanumeric
D = Date
N = Numeric
MAE-FIELD-SIZE Numeric 2 MA00.2
Field Size The field size of the data. This will
be different for different data types.
Date fields are 8 characters.
Numeric fields can be a maximum of 18
characters.
Alpha fields can be a maximum of 20
characters.
MAE-ELEMENT-TYPE Alpha 1 MA00.2
Element Type The element type.
MAE-USED-FLAG Alpha 1 MA00.3
Used Indicates if the record has been
accessed by some source after creation.
MAE-ACTIVE-STATUS Alpha 1 MA00.2
Status The status of the account. If Inactive,
no posting can be done to the account.
A = Active
I = Inactive
