Bin Storage Code
The Bin Storage Code file contains information about the physical storage
capacities of a specific type of bin. These storage codes can be assigned to
bins with the same physical attributes.

Element: Company Identifies the AP company if the
resource type = V. Identifies the HR
company if the resource type = E. It is
blank for type A, P or Q resources.

location within the company inventory.

Element: Bin Storage CoThis field contains a code assigned to
describe the physical characteristics of
a bin.

Element: Description This field contains the description for
the bin storage code.
BST-CUBIC-FEET Signed 9.3 IC15.1
Element: Cubic Feet This field contains the number of cubic
feet of storage space within the bin.
BST-WEIGHT Signed 9.3 IC15.1
Element: Unit Weight This field contains the total amount of
weight the bin can handle for storage.
BST-QUANTITY Signed 13.4 IC15.1
Element: Quantity This field contains the number of items
the bin can hold.
BST-ACTIVE-STATUS Alpha 1 IC15.1
Element: Status This field is used to limit the use of
a storage code. If the status is
inactive, the bin storage code cannot be
added to the Item Location record.
A = Active
I = Inactive
BST-USED-FL Alpha 1 IC10.2 IC15.1
Element: Used This field indicates whether a bin IC15.2
storage code has been used in the Item
Location file. Once it has been used, it
cannot be deleted.
N = No
Y = Yes
BST-UOM Alpha 4 IC15.1
Element: Unit of MeasurThis is the valid stock unit of measure
for this item.
