WH126 - POD Print
Run POD Print (WH126) to print a Proof of Delivery (POD) form to send
with an order to a customer. The POD form allows the customer to confirm the
receipt of goods prior to being billed. The customer can accept the goods,
accept some of the goods, or reject the whole shipment. When the POD form is
sent back, the customer is billed accordingly.
If the POD form is required for a customer, you can define a grace period
during which the customer has time to send the POD form back. If the grace
period expires and the Proof of Delivery form is not returned, the shipment is
invoiced. You define a customer as requiring POD processing and the grace
period in the Accounts Receivable application.
