Salary/Pay Rate Information - Screens and Tables?

Started By  Mark6B
Does anyone have a list of Lawson Screens and Tables that house Salary/Pay Rate information We have converted most of our LAUA users to LSF security. As most companies I assume, we only want certain users to have access to salary/pay rate information for Exec. Departments. I quickly learned that Lawson does not supply a list of screens and tables that access pay rate/salary information so where restriction were requested, I simply had to look at each screen a user group has access to and see...

BSI 10 and Non-Qualified Deferred Comp

Started By  Jason Beard
We've noticed an inconsistency in the calculation of state taxable wages for those employees electing to defer a portion of their pay check. Here's an example,  Gross wages 3,771.46 Deferred 98.11- Remaining GW 3575.24 401K pre-tax of 427.6 Med/Dental 156.15   BSI 9 calculates NJ Taxable wages at 3147.64 which is equal to wages less deferred less 401 BSI 10.e.1 calculates NJ Taxable wages at 3159.06  Which doesn't appear to equate to anything...   Anyone else experiencing similar issu...

BN531 error Contribution option not active

Started By  jph826
The BN531 returns 'Contribution option not active' for all medical and dental plans.  I have verified that the plan options are active, that all of the contribution records are in place and I have verified the job def.  I would appreciate other suggestions on things I could check.  Thank you!

Position Turnover report

I'm trying to create a position turnover report from Lawson but not sure exactly where to start. I need to have starting positions number, hire/term, and ending employee number for that specific month. Does anyone have a template I can get started on Crystal / SQL / SSRS, doesn't matter. Thanks.

BN106 - HD03 VALUE

Started By  TBonney
Can anyone tell me where the HD03 field gets populated from, when running BN106 to generate an ANSII834 file   We created a new plan in BN15 and moved a group of people to it. When we look at the BN106 output file, field 3 in the HD segment is empty, but only for these people that were moved into the new plan. However, in reviewing the BN15 setup for the new plan, it appears to be configured identically to the other plans, whose records are populating the HD03 with the expected value of 'HLT...

Issue getting employees who are close to max 403b contributions to hit the max

Started By  kvetro60
We currently have maximum annual employee contributions for our 403b savings plan.  Employees who are under 50 can defer up to 18,000 and those 50 and over can contribute up to 24,000.  We are incurring a problem when employees get close the maximum rate for their BSI Group Code.  If a person with a max deferral of 18,000 has contributed 17,500 YTD and based on their deferral in BN32 their next deferral amount would be over 500 (say 750), Lawson will NOT take the deduction at all so the empl...

Life Event getting '404 Error'

Started By  Bryian K Pimental
I am currently setting up Life Events in S3 version 10.  When testing the process, the employee is able to get through to the options and if the option is changed, they are not allowed to proceed to the plans screen without receiving a '404 error' and cannot proceed.  Has anyone experienced this and if so, how did you resolve it Thanks.

Flu Shot Tracking

Started By  TBonney
Can anybody please share what their process is for any degree of automation to the process of tracking employee flu shots We are a Hospital with multiple campuses and therefore, flu shots are often required by state law to be administered to all employees who may come in proximity/contact with patients. Our current process is simply a manual entry from the signed paper forms into PA49 for each shot administered. Needless to say, this task is a huge burden on our Employee Health staff of 2, who...

Lawson payroll without BSI?

Started By  Russell Spreeman
We have discontinued our use of Lawson for payroll with our acquisition by another company and their taking over of this function. However we still have a few individuals who need to be paid from prior to the cutover and they must be paid from Lawson. We need to know whether we need to have BSI on our Lawson system for the payroll applications to function or if we can safely remove it. We understand we will need to manually calculate the taxes, but just want to make sure that the payroll functio...

BN990 Safe Harbor Codes

Started By  Kristie Starzyk
This is our first time running 1095C's in Lawson as we went live with Lawson February 2016.  I'm running into many questions on the BN990 report.  Infor Extreme is not answering me, and I'd like to get an answer sooner rather than later. When employees are enrolled in medical coverage the whole 12 months, they have an Offer Code of 1A on the BN990, but the Safe Harbor Code is blank.  Shouldn't it have a code of 2H (or whatever the Safe Harbor Code is on the ACA set-up on BN15.3)  I'm afraid to...

ACA Medical Plan Priority on BN15.3

Started By  Kristie Starzyk
This is our first year doing ACA and 1095C's through Lawson.  I wanted to get everyone input on how they put the priorities on their medical plans on BN15.3.  The Benefits Administration Guide states that you put your highest coverage plan with a priority of 1.  We have 3 plans, and the plan that we based all of our ACA affordability off of has a $1250 deductible (lowest cost out of employee pay checks).  However, we do have one with a $500 deductible (highest cost of out pay check).  The plan w...

Benefit Allocation Contribution

Started By  Gary Stone
Hi All, Could someone tell me the meaning of the Benefit Contribution Allocation field on HR00.1, tax tab. We have been using 9-Full Amount alt ovrd ever since Lawson was installed, back in 2000. We are currently having an issue with GTL getting included in the PA taxes and Infor is telling us to change that field from 9 to 0-Percent. GTL was working earlier in 2016 and for some reason it stopped working. We are attempting to figure out why we should change this or determine it's effect on othe...

BN297 - COBRA Enrollments

Started By  Kristie Starzyk
Our COBRA is through a third party vendor, so we do not house their enrollment information in Lawson.  When I ran the BN297 for one of my process levels, I noticed that a terminated employee who elected 1 month of COBRA coverage has 2 lines.  One for her enrollment as an employee (January - July) and one for her COBRA enrollment for the month of August.  Is this typical  Or is there a different way to get this information on 1 line  I am just trying to see who we can get her on 1 line so only ...

BN297 Employee Address

Started By  Jennifer Burke
Our BN297 pulled employee address data from the home address fields.  We would like it to pull from the supplemental address fields.   Forgive my stupidity, but is there a way to override Lawson so that the supplemental address will print on the employee's 1095   Thank you!

Payroll Contracts (CMCONTRACT) & doc

Started By  Tim R
I am trying to move PR23 (emdistmastr) data to CMDISTRIB. CMCONTRACT and CMASSIGN are already populated but I need to move the distributions to CMDISTRIB. Can't find anything on the schemas or docs in regards to how these tables work. We want to move away from PR23 because it was causing incorrect postings. Testing CMDISTRIB looks good. Does anyone have information they are willing to share Right now I am just eyeballing it and so far it looks good but don't know of other ramifications...
