Hello. We are currently using Lawson 9.0.0. When I drill around on PA02 on a position, I see the message '*Position Update Status: Needs to be updated'. I tried running the PA102 but there is no data to be updated. I was wondering if any of you have come across this and if you know how to proceed. Thanks for your time. P.S. I tried opening a call with Lawson support but they just leave me hanging with no response while they 'research' the problem for days.

Everything I have come accross says that the PMTOUT is now supposed to be in my print folder (checks and receipts are there) instead of under WORK, but I do not see the flat file there.  When I put a file name on PR160, I get a file under my print folder, but it is in the same format as the receipt file and does not have all of the information as the full flat file.  Lawson support has not been any help.

Trying to find out if it's possible in any way, that the *indirect* supervisor (not the direct supervisor) can be set up within MSS so that the indirect supervisor can approve his/her *indirect* reports' (as in the HR11 field Indirect Supervisor) web time entry. When PR140 runs in report mode in what table are the deductions stored before payroll closes.  After it closes I do know they are stored in paydeductn.

I am trying to figure out which table holds the data from PA57.2 - Personnel Action by Reason Code.  When I look at the form tips and tricks, PA57.2 is not listed. Any thoughts on which table this is held on

We are a US based company and would like to have US & Candian employees in the same Company.  By trial and error we've reached the point of pre-hiring a Candian employee but we are receiving a currency error on the salary.   Are there any other US based companies out there that have gone through this same scenario and would be willing to share your experience with us

Has anyone tried raising the numeric values in TA170WS from 4 to 5 (for 99999) KB 557873  For employees with over 10,000 prtime records, So far we have one employee forcing  TA170 into Needs Recovery with error 153 Subscript out of range, We have payroll coming up Monday and may hit others... any ideas on workarounds Other than Purging....  We only have 9 yrs of data... :)

We are in the process of implementing a Roth 401(k) plan with a company match in addition to a traditional company match plan.  The issue is that I am unable to tie the company match portion on a pre-tax basis to the Roth plan as it must be set-up after-tax.   The company match is always pre-tax so I am wondering why Lawson doesn't allow for this.  Does anyone know if there are any tax implications to the employee if the company match is set up after-tax

Occationally the employee vs. employer amounts for typically one employee does not match between the payroll register and the invoice conversion/interface. This appeared to be happening at the end of the month however recently this has happened three pays in a row. The amounts vary as well as the employee. I've compared the prdistrib against the paydeductn files to identify the employoees and the pays that are off. Does anyone have an idea why/how these amounts become out of sync

We run a bi-weekly payroll, and this year for us the last period end date of the year falls on Jan 1, 2010.  We would like to pay everyone on Dec 31, 2009.  We  have several benefits that are set up in the BN module for 26 pay periods. Does anyone know whether in this case Lawson would consider this the 27th pay of 2009, and not take the BN deductions (looking at PR140 date).  Or will it look at the period end date, and consider it the first deduction of 2010 We would like everything to go to...

Hi All, I'm trying to modify some of the ESS forms that were installed with our 8.0.3 apps.  Specifically, I'm trying to change the look and feel.  What file(s) should I be modifying to accompmlish this  Are there style sheets  Includes  If i open the empprofile.htm, for example, I don't see where there are any calls to CSS or any font variables.  Any help would be appreciated!
