We are on a windows platform remote hosted by Velocity. Hi, does anyone have a nonstock item set up with two different ordering UOM I have it set in IC11 with both BX and BG as 'BUY' unit of measures, one set to 1, one set to 2. When I try to add the item to PO25 one with BX one with BG and the corresponding pricing, I receive error message 'UOM MUST MATCH FLAG MUST BE Y FOR ITEMS WITH MULITPLE UOM'     Is it possible to set up one item, with 2 different buy uom and to have pricing pull from PO25 thanks, Sheri

I created 2 new par locations in IC81. I logged into MSCM and was able to add them to my user, however when he logs into the hand held, they are not showing up in the list of parforms.

We are changing our main supplier and I was going to us the Lawson Excel upload wizard to change out our Main Supplier in the IC12.2 screen, but I am wondering about using the IC330 form.  Has anyone done a large vendor change (going from vendor 'A' to vendor 'B') using this form And any issues, etc.  Thanks for any feedback!  :)

Is it possible to define an ED02 record in such a way that I can make use of one set of FTP credentials and then create two ED02 records that will define in and out directories (i.e. in for invoices, out for POs); or can ED02 direct to the default home directory of the login, thus requiring two separate sets of credentials

Does anybody know a way to upload the cost in Lawson to a new ship-to location so it doesn't cause first-order errors For instance: When a user orders an item in RQC, if there is an established cost history for that item for the location they're ordering from, it's no problem. But when we change the location, that cost history doesn't transfer over, and it causes an error for the user that says they need to enter a cost. Perhaps there's a paint screen or upload that we can use to copy over...

There's been this buzz for years about how health systems need to look at supply utilization to reduce expenses. Tightening down contracts is good but it only goes so far and it's hard to get blood from a stone. Lawson is developing their Supply Chain Analytics tool but it's in it's infancy and does not integrate clinical information. Perhaps their Clinical Bridge will help with this in the future. Does anyone have experience uploading to IC58 & IC64 in 9.0.1 for GLNs We are setting up our first vendor with GLNs and are having to load about 500 deliver to's in the IC64. We were hoping this could be done with an upload, but have not been able to find any documentation. We are looking to see what is the best way to zone order for inventory so that seperate orders are generated for different areas of our storeroom to ease put away. It has been suggested to us to assign different Buyer ID's on IC12 and then run seperate PO100 jobs for each buyer to create seperate PO's. Is there a better way

I have a situation where I have a manufacturer part number that needs to be changed.  I make the revisions in IC11; However, the new manufacturer's part number listed in some of my par locations (IC12) remains the same.  Should a change in IC11 not have a global effect  If not, is there a way to make a global change  Thanks for your help in advance.

We are looking at changing our entire GL structure (yes, I know we are crazy). How many characters is the GL Account number (we call those object codes and other places call them expense accounts) I see that in GL00 size=6 for GDT-Account, but we are confused since we see several other things. Using  iSeries 7.x - PO's that are printed have the new logo and billing address on them but when we auto fax a PO it still has the old logo and billing address. The first copy is the PO printed (has the new  logo and billing address). The second copy was auto faxed (has the  old logo and billing address).  It's the same PO number but the logo  and billing address if different.  Is there any way of getting this updated
