We are having an issue with the Lawson user id not being able to log into Portal. We rarely use this account but recently needed to get into the ProcessFlow administration screen and discovered it could not authenticate in Portal. We are deploying LS. We had around 200 users on LS (mostly ESS) and working without issues. I just moved another 250 users to ESS - and now Portal users are freezing. Lawson support had me edit some LSproperties files 3 weeks - to allow for better memory utilization....but the same problem is happening again. We are having issues with Lawson Portal 9.0.0.6.175 and IE 7 and IE 8.  The issue is that when we logon to Lawson Portal we are unable use our application plan. The issue is that there is an invisible Lawson Portal window so ImageNow Learnmode is unable to find the correct window. On the Lawson Home Portal, the default picture known as the 'Wedding Cake' doesn't show in IE 10. I can view in IE 8 and 9 but not version 10. Well when I am logged into the portal, I try to go to 'content' to add a bookmark for my account and I get the attached error. I am kind of new to Lawson, however, we have Employee Self Service up and running and I am very close with Manager Self Service.  Currently in MSS I can see Absence Plan Setup and if the manager drills down on this he can see every employees absence plan but I don't want this.  If I modify the rules so he can't see it, it also takes away the ability for the manager to see his/her Leave Balances under ESS.  I have it narrowed down to three tables:TAPLAN, PGEMPLOYEE, and PERSGROUP.  Ultimately wha...

We are looking at how we might use Sharepoint as our starting point for delivering web content to our users, but are wondering how Lawson Portal would figure into the big picture.  One consultant suggested that we look at using Lawson as a launch point but Portal seems restrictive from a development standpoint so we're looking for thoughts on how to best do this, ideally with single sign on.

I was able to install LCM server properly but now I am facing trouble to install LCM service and I am unable to open webpage using https:LCM_Server_IP_Name:6062. Our lawson portal users are in an ADAM instance that is not bound to active directory.  Is there a way I could use ADAM and portal's username/password to authenicate users for another application  I've used AD for authenicating users in other applications.

I have one Portal user who has jobs that are visible in LID but do not show in the dropdown (drill) in Portal. The status bar message says something like 'no entires meet this criteria'. This user can see their jobs in LID and can get to them in Portal by clicking the 'next' (arrow) button. Other users can see their jobs in Portal from the dropdown. We are running LAUA security and this users LAUA and RM record appear to be the same as other users. What am I missing

We applied an ESP and the default theme allows you to print in ESS.  We need to switch back to our original theme as we have many users with a lower version of IE.  Theme 8 does not seem to print.  I put on debugger and looked at the scripts in Visual Stuio.  t looks at styler.showLDS and styler.showInfor.  Does anyone how what this is
