I realise this may be the wrong forum but I couldn't find one more suited to a JED/NED issue.  The problem in a nutshell is this: 1) We are on 8.03 Environment ESP7 in Windows. 2) Our apps are 7.2 x (don't ask!) 3) We cannot get JED/NED to work, and this has historically been an issue for us. We changed the Home page on the general tab for one of our portal roles to a DotNetNuke 'dashboard' view and removed all of the checks except for 'Allow use of My Shortcuts' on the general tab.  I want to push some bookmarks out to this portal role. We have two (2) environments running on our test system.  One of the environments is running an 8.0.3 version of Self Service and another is running 9.0.  Does anyone know of a method I can utilize to copy Portal bookmarks from one environment to another.  Thanks in advance.

I am new to LSF9 security - I have followed the administration document to add a user - The user can log successfully on to Portal but still has access to every screen.  I can't seem to find the problem.  I have created a protal role, a LSF9 security class, and a rule for the security calss and assigned it to the user - still not luck. We are trying to enable access to our lawson portal from outside our WAN.  We are using a third party appliance to facilitate the connection from outside our WAN to the portal server.  When we do this will all traffic, internal and external have to go through this third party appliance or can the external come through the third party appliance and the internal traffic just hit the portal server directly

Does anyone know if Lawson provides the capability to send a report to another users from Portal. We are on version 9.04 and it appears that Lawson did not provide that feature within the new release of Portal. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

In Lawson portal 3.x we were able to add the tag > to the default.xml file so that when a user logged into portail it displayed the product line they were using. How/where can this change be made in portal 9.x

We are making the switch from LID to Portal while we are going to 9.  Can someone tell me how to move through the HR Writer screens  In LID we went to HR65.1 and used F9 to keep moving through screens.  Have read the 'Getting started in portal' doc and find nothing.  I don't want to set up a hot key if there is already a key to keep moving.

When I try to access my WB1 portal webserver it pulls the data from my WB2 webserver.  WB1 should be looking at DBase A and WB2 should be looking at DBase B.  Right now they both look at DBase B.  The only way I can see my DBase A is through LID. I have checked the Logan.env tables on both boxes and they are each pointed to the right databases.  This began after a SysAdmin copied WB2 over to WB1 due to a failure.  Where else can I check to correct the instance of the database this is pointing to...

Is there any way to default the filter the drill around to show values that have an active status For example, on the HR11.1 when the Drill Around button for Process Level is pressed you see all process levels, active and inactive.  I wan't the end user to just see the active process levels because it is just clutter to have the inactive process levels in the list in this context.  We are going from 40 active process levels to 4 and we want to see the inactive ones as little as possible. We are testing the upgrade to LSF9 environment, and I noticed in Portal, that there is no longer an option to export a print manager file to a text format or a pdf format.  I only see CSV.  Does anyone know if it changed  Perhaps I just have to request that these options be turned on.  Thanks.

LSF - 9 ESS/MSS wants the Service for an employee record in LSA setup as a single digit COMPANY number.  (for us that is 1) Process Flow Web Inbasket for HRUserAction nodes is requiring the COMPANY number to be 4 digits ...  I think it wants a string (for us that is '0001' If I set an Associate's login service as COMPANY number = 0001 associates can not access ESS/MSS and if I set their COMPANY number = 1 then they do not get things from process flow in their Web-Inbasket for approval....

Hello I have read KB 90197 and know that you have to use groups but I could have sworn that there was a way to send reports to users (a la LID) without setting up formal groups. Am I just crazy or is this possible  I was almost certain that I did this in Portal 8 about four years ago. Thanks.
