Some of our users are receiving an error when logging into the portal url. They get a blank screen. When you drill on the page error is reads Objectfactory is undefined. Any ideas would be appreciated Thanks JC

Is there anyway in 9.0 to know who is logged into Lawson using Portal and RSS. Also is there anyway to send out a global message to all users that are logged in. We had a meeting today regarding AP10 access. I'm interested in finding out how others have access to AP10 and how is their access limited We're also exploring some vendor maintenance changes. Right now, our Payroll department creates their own vendors and Purchasing creates all of the others. I have my LSF9.0 running paralell to my 8.03 during this LSF Migration (Environment only) while I hash out the 'bugs' in 9.0 Portal. We are up on ESS and MSS currently (our 8.03 envir) and have our Employees use their Employee to log in and check benefits, pay, etc.. - We obviously stored these in RD30 and tied to a default WebId login 'j0ltweb', which has an LAUA security class for all web users. The option to scroll through jobs on our LSF9  test system in Portal recently stopped working properly and we are not sure what caused this. It returns the first 25 records as per the filter setting, but the back and fwd otions are greyed out. Has anyone had this happen before

Sorry for the cross-post but we are pulling our (remaining) hair out here. All: Has anyone encountered where sometimes a Portal session will hang (indefinitely) with or without 'x number of items remaining' displayed in the status bar This 'seems' to be happening a LOT here, just after we do a search for a Lawson form from the upper right corner's search box. Hopefully an easy question.. I have added new system applications, i.e. LP to my system. I am able to run them via LID and go to the progrma via the search box.  LP01 etc.  I do not see the bookmarks in the portal.  Anyone know how to get the updated bookmarks to display LSF9.0 APPs 9.0.4. We will be going live with lsf9 this coming weekend.  We have followed the LBI instructions to modified the portalrole home page to point to the url for our lbi.  When we do this, users do not get access to any of the portalrole bookmarks that are locked.  Lawson has referenced me to article number 5001032 - If you have changed the home page for the role to something other than 'home.htm', this issue will occur. We are implementing Ess/Mss on 8.03 msp 7 enviro and 8.1 msp 5 apps. I'm struggling with only one item on my security plan. I had planned to leave the login field in rd30 blank for all ess/mss users (portal application users will have a separate logon for their other access..so they are not an issue). The default users  has to have wide open security for ess/mss to work, so I've grouped all ess/mss users and attached to a custom xml file that took away the search box. We are in the process of migrating to LSF9 technology and Portal 9.  Most of our organization uses Windows and Internet Explorer.  However, we allow Employee Self Service users to access from home, and many use Mac and other web browsers. In the administrator account, when I add a user to a bookmark to the AP Vendor.  I log in as the user but I do not see the bookmark.  Also, when I select 'Bookmarks' from the selection list in the upper right of the home page, I get an error telling me that no Bookmarks were found. I am having issues with getting Lawson Terminal to work for any users other than Lawson on a Windows environment. Hello. I would like to force/push out a bookmark to change lawson password to all of my users. (We're on lawson 9.0.0.4, MSP4, and use LSF9, not LAUA, users do not have access to LID). In lawson portal when the user tries to run a report, it errors as 'Unable to open dictionary: Error 0'  'OpenDBView error is File not found (26)'. I understand that it is some security issue for this user. Could anyone please let me know what changes I need to make in laua for this user to enable him run the report.   Thanks Vijay
