AC950 - AC Import 1 - Activity

This program is for Projects or Project Accounting users of the 7.0 Activity
Management system. The program upgrades release 6.0 summary types (or jobs)
and projects and release 6.1 projects and project groups to 7.0 Activity
Management activities and activity groups. The program upgrades information
from the preupgrade programs PS922 (Project Conversion) and PS923 (Summtype
Conversion). Project Accounting variable levels must be unique across
companies before you can upgrade to release 7.0.

The upgrade to 7.0 Activity Management includes the following results:

- The Activity Management calendar is blank. GL only users do not need to add
calendar information, but Projects or Project Accounting users must.

- The 6.0 or 6.1 status of Temporarily Closed is changed to Closed in 7.0.
Active status is changed to Open. GL Only status is assigned if the summary
type had no variable levels assigned.

- The Consolidation and Change Order flags are set to Yes. You can change
them to No if you want to, using AC00.1 (Activity Group).

- Resources from the Project Group file are assigned in the Activity Resource
file.

- You must define user status after the upgrade.

- The lowest level in the level structure becomes the posting level. All
higher levels are summary levels.

- The Billable flag is set to No during upgrade, but after upgrade you can
change it to Yes if you want to, using AC10.1 (Activity).

Before running this program, you can edit preupgrade information in UG22
Project Conversion) and UG23 (Summary Type Conversion).

Projects or Project Accounting users must run the upgrade programs in the
following order:
  AC950 (AC Import 1 - Activity)
  AC951 ((AC Import 1 - Non-Activity)
  AC952 (AC Import 2)
  AC958 (AC Import 3)
  AC980 (AC Rebuild)

Non-Projects or non-Project Accounting users run only AC951 (AC Import 1 -
Non-Activity).
