BN510 - Benefits Deduction Load

Run BN510 (Benefits Deduction Load) to load deductions from your non-Lawson
payroll system into BN10.1 (Benefits Deduction). You can create deductions for
benefit plans by running BN510 instead of or in addition to using BN10.1
(Benefits  Deductions).

Run BN510 only if you do not use the Lawson Payroll system.

BN510 uses the deduction data flat file to create deduction records. Lawson
recommends running BN510 to Report Only to review deduction information before
updating the deductions to the Lawson database. When you run BN510 in Update
mode, a flat file of deduction master records, created according to Lawson
specifications, is read and records are created in the deduction file. BN510
lists any errors encountered in the input file.

Updated Files

    CKPOINT    - The Check Point file is the Universe file used for recovery.

    DEDCODE    - The Deduction file is accessed by this report.


Referenced Files

    PAYCLASS   - The Pay Class file is used to verify pay class.

    PRSYSTEM   - The HR Company and Process Levels file is used to verify
                 company information.
