BN532 - Batch Dependent Benefit Enrollment Run BN532 (Batch Dependent Benefit Enrollment) to load dependent benefits from Comma-Separated Value (CSV) files. BN532 adds dependent benefits the same way benefits are added in BN31.1 (Speed Benefit Entry). Before you run BN532 make sure all plans have been defined for the benefits you are loading. BN532 creates a report showing which benefits were loaded, the cost of each benefit, and an error report of benefits not loaded. Planning considerations Before beginning the conversion process, you must make some basic decisions concerning the dependent benefit data you will convert. 1. Determine the records you will convert. Decide if you will convert all benefits records or only selected records. For example, you might want to convert only current dental benefits, but both historical and current health benefits. 2. Run BN531 to make sure employee benefits exist for the dependent whose records are going to be converted. Before you run BN532: - Ensure the company is defined in HR00.1 (Company). - Ensure employees are defined in HR11.1 (Employee). - Ensure dependents are defined in HR13.1 (Dependent). - Ensure plan codes are defined in BN15.1 (Benefit Plan).
