IC589 - Forecast Transfer

Run this program to transfer forecast information from one location to
another.  The forecast information comes from the Inventory Forecast file. You
can split a forecast between two company/location combinations and type a
percentage indicating how much of the forecast goes to the first
company/location.

Updated Files

    CKPOINT    - This file is used in the event of a program or system failure
                 to enable a batch update program to continue from where it left
                 off.


    ICFORECAST - The Inventory Forecast file stores the forecasted demand of an
                 item at a location. This demand is in units and/or amounts by
                 year and period. These valid forecast numbers can be attached
                 to the item location records via IC12 (Item Location).



Referenced Files

    ICCOMPANY  - Used to validate the company number.

    ICLOCATION - Used to validate the inventory location.

    ITEMLOC    - The Item Location file contains the dynamic information for an
                 inventoried item at a stock location.


    ITEMMAST   - The Item Master file stores static information about each item
                 such as description, classes, units of measure, and weight.
