SL40.1 - Error Transaction Edit

Use SL40.1 (Error Transaction Edit) to display and correct strategic ledger
errors that occurred when you processed transactions in a Lawson application
that included user analysis values. The error message identifying why the
transaction was not completed displays. After you correct the transaction, you
can release it using this form using the Release line action.

You view error messages for each user analysis value combination you assigned
in transactions for a specific user analysis group.

If the transaction did not result in an error, or after you release the
transaction using this form, use SL90.1 (Strategic Ledger Transaction
Analysis) to display strategic ledger transaction amounts.

Error transaction are stored in the Strategic Ledger Transaction Error
(SLTRANSERR) file. After you release the transaction, the SLTRANSERR record is
deleted and amounts are updated in the Strategic Ledger Transaction (SLTRANS)
file.

Note: Error messages display for transactions one at time. If there is more
than one error for a transaction, the next error displays when you release the
previous one.

You can choose the Filter button to open SL40.4 (Filter). Use this subform to
select specific criteria that limits what transactions display for.

You can choose the More button to open SL40.3 (Additional Information). Use
this subform to display and maintain additional detail for each transaction
line; such as the activity, account category, posting date, attributes, and
transaction, base, account, and report currency amounts.

You can run SL146 (SL Error Release, Delete) to release multiple transactions
at one time instead of releasing each transaction in this form.

When strategic ledger transaction is correct, use SL50.1 (Strategic Ledger)
to identify the strategic ledger information you want to post.

SL40.4 - Filter

Use SL40.4 (Filter) to select specific criteria to view error transactions
for. The Enable Filter field lets you decide whether or not to allow filter
information.
