GL Transaction Writer Header
The General Ledger Transaction Writer file contains report parameters defined
in GL55.1 (Transaction Writer) and inputs the parameters into GL256
(Transaction Writer Report) to process the report.

by the system (automatic).
A = Automatic
M = Manual

CSV Output A No value creates a 132-character wide
report with up to two lines of detail
per transaction.
A Yes value creates a CSV file with two
lines of detail strung into one line
per transaction. The formatted heading
line will be the first line of the CSV
file.
GWH-SEARCH-METHOD Alpha 1 GL55.1
Search Method The method used for transaction
selection.
S (System Control) enables the program
to choose the best path and file based
on the entered parameters.
A (Account) uses the company, accounting
unit, and account parameters. Only use
this method if there are few accounts to
be considered.
C (Analysis Codes) uses analysis codes
to select transactions to be included.
H (Journal Header) uses the journal
header file to select transactions to be
included.

created by the program or
user-maintained. The option is set in
the Column Heading Control field.

Last Sequence Number The last transaction sequence number.

Sort Matrix Category There are up to eight matrix attributes
for sorting the selected objects. It
does not have to be a selection category
to be a sort category. The sort is in
ascending order.

Currency Code This field contains the company base
currency code established in GL10.1
(Company).
