GL55.1 - Transaction Writer

Use GL55.1 (Transaction Writer) to define and maintain a transaction writer
report. A transaction writer report lists transaction detail according to the
parameters you select. Each form tab in GL55.1 acts like a filter that limits
the transactions that are included in the report. You only need to define one
transaction report, but can modify parameters at any time. The transaction
report prints two 132 character detail lines.

You can select what transactions to include in the report, what transaction
and transaction attribute fields to include, and how the transactions are
organized and totaled.

Use the Basic form tab to define basic parameters for the report.

Use the Primary Values form tab to select the organizational levels and
account ranges you want to include transactions from.

Use the Secondary Values form tab to further identify the transactions you
want to include in the report.

Use the Layout form tab to determine how the report is organized, how
subtotals and totals are produced, and whether duplicate information is
suppressed for sequential transactions.

Use the Sort form tab to define sort criteria. You can assign up to eight
different sort criteria for the report, but must assign at least one.

After you define parameters, run GL255 to list transaction writer parameters
and then run GL256 (Transaction Writer Report) to create the report.

GL55.2 - Copy

Use GL55.2 (Copy) to create a new transaction writer report based on an
existing report.
