Pricing Worksheet
The Pricing Worksheet file controls the formal planning process of updating
price bases. The worksheet file indicates which item's bases to pull into
this worksheet. See the Billing Procedures Manual for a description of the
worksheet planning process.

Billing system, the base list must be
further identified by location to
establish an acceptable worksheet that
will update the selected base. Selection
of this company level option indicates
that base list pricing can differ for
the same item, depending on the
inventory location of the item.

Selected Base If a base name is entered in this BL240 BL340
field, the current base price tied to BL41.1
this base will be multiplied by the
multiplier criteria established on the
Item Selection tab of BL41.1 (Worksheet)
to arrive at the new base. prices for
all items specified. In order for the
bases to finally be updated, BL141 (Base
List Worksheet Update) must be run.
Note: If vendor selection criteria has
been entered on BL41.2 (Item Selection),
a base name (in this field) can only be
entered as the price source to be
modified if company prices vary by
location. If so, the location field will
also be required when defining the
worksheet. The reason for this is that
the vendor is found on the Item Location
record but not the Item Master record. A
base that is not tied to a location will
not be able to be selected by vendor.

Sel Curr The worksheet feature allows users to BL240 BL340

This field identifies the currency of
the price base of the base selected to
be modified.

Upd Loc If the "Base Location Required" option
has been selected for the company in the
Billing system, the base name must be
further identified by location to
establish base price. Selection of this
company level option indicates that base
pricing can differ for the same item,
depending on the inventory location of
the item.

Update Base This field contains the base price name
that will either be updated by the
worksheet or created by the worksheet
when BL141 (Base List Worksheet Update)
is run.

Upd Curr The worksheet feature allows users to
select a price base that is defined
using one currency and update or create
another price base in another currency.
This field identifies the currency of
the price base that will be created or
updated.

Plan Effective Date This is the date the prices for the
updated base will take effect - provided
of course that this base has been
updated by BL141 (Base List Worksheet
Update). This date must be a future date
at the time it is entered.

Selected Location The price source to be modified by the
percentage indicated (on BL41.2) can be
specified as one of the two item costs
currently on file for the items at the
location entered in this field.
OWK-ISS-COST-PRI Numeric 1 BL41.1
Iss Cost Pri Entering a (1) or (2) in this field
will specify whether the item's cost
(updated when item was last issued)
should be used as the first or second
choice for the price source.
OWK-LAST-COST-PRI Numeric 1 BL41.1
Last Cost Pri Entering a (1) or (2) in this field
will indicate whether the item's last
received cost should be used as the
first or second choice for the price
source.

Beginning Item This field represents the first item in
the range of items that are to have
their price bases updated by the
multiplier identified to the right of
the range specified.

End Item This field represents the last item in
the range of items that are to have
their price bases updated by the
multiplier identified to the right of
the range specified.

Item Mult This is the number that will be
multiplied by the price base for items
within the range identified to arrive at
the new price base for these items.

Beg Maj Scls This field represents the first major
sales class in the range of sales
classes that are to have their items
base prices updated by the multiplier
identified to the right of the range
specified.

End Maj Scls This field represents the ending major
sales class in the range of sales
classes that are to have their items
updated by the multiplier identified to
right of the range specified.

Sclass Mult This is the number that will be
multiplied by the price base for items
belonging to the major sales class range
identified to the left to arrive at the
new price base for these items.
OWK-SEL-VENDOR Alpha 9 BL41.1
Selected Vendor If a vendor number is entered in this
field, the worksheet will update items
on a price base that are supplied only
by this vendor. This option can only be
selected if the company establishes
price bases for each location. If this
option is selected, then a location must
be selected on BL41.1 (Worksheet)
indicating what location the worksheet
should use when picking items to update.
OWK-VENDOR-MULT Signed 5.4 BL41.1
Vendor Multiplier If a multiplier is entered on this
field, it will be used in calculating
the updated price base for all items
supplied by the vendor entered above.

Status This is the status of a given BL42.1 BL42.2

0 = Edit
1 = Created
2 = Released
3 = Processed
OWK-SPRDSHEET-FL Alpha 1
Spreadsheet Flag If this flag is set to Yes, it
indicates that this worksheet cannot be
changed once it has been created. The
idea is that the worksheet will be
unloaded to a personal computer
spreadsheet format and be maintained
there instead of being maintained in the
Order Entry system.
