AM580 - Depreciation Recalculation
This program recalculates depreciation for a selected asset book. The
recalculation begins from the in-service date and calculates up to but does
not include the current period.
The primary use for this program is after conversion is completed; you can
correct all of the previous product asset depreciation information before any
further asset processing. AM170 (Processing Release) must be run to update the
depreciation changes requested. No journal entries are created for any changes
made.

AMASTBOOK - Primary file updated. Used to store the asset book records
that are used to depreciate assets.
AMASTRECAP - Accessed by common library; not used by this program.
CKPOINT - Used for restart purposes.

also contains many of the selection and sorting fields that are
used for reporting.
AMASTTYPE - Used to validate asset type information.
AMBOOK - Used to verify book information.
AMCALENDAR - Used to retrieve period date information.
AMCOMPUTE - Used to retrieve compute statements to be used in depreciation
calculations.
AMCONTROL - Used to verify if the company is being used in the Asset
Management system.
AMDIVISION - Used to validate division information.
AMLOCATION - Used to validate location information.
AMMETHOD - Used to retrieve depreciation methods to be used in
depreciation calculations.
AMPUCODE - Used to retrieve personal use code information to be used in
depreciation calculations.
AMPUHIS - Used to retrieve personal use history to be used in
depreciation calculations.
AMTABLEPCT - Used to retrieve percentages to be used in depreciation
calculations.
AMUOPPDS - Used to retrieve units of production information to be used in
depreciation calculations.
