IC61.1 - Kit Component Replacement
**Form Purpose
Use Kit Component Replacement (IC61.1) to replace or delete the make-to-order
and finished good kit components set up in IC60.1 (Kit, Assembly) or IC62.1
(Finished Goods). To replace a component, enter the current component and the
new component. Then, select the Replace form action. To delete a kit
component, enter the current component item number and select the Delete form
action.
You can also use this form to calculate a new component quantity by a
quantity factor. If specified, the original component quantity is multiplied
by the new quantity factor to determine a new component quantity. For example,
to increase the number of Band-Aids used in a first-aid kit from 2 to 4, enter
2 as the new quantity factor (2 x 2 = 4). Otherwise, the old quantity is
applied to the new component (if specified).
This form lets you choose by status code the kits you want to affect. To
affect active kits, select Active in the Select Status field. To affect
inactive kits, select Inactive in the Select Status field. If this field is
left blank, all kits are affected by this form.
