Work Order Items
The Work Order Items file contains information about components used in the
process of producing a finished good for a specific work order.

Company This field contains the company number,
as defined in the Inventory Control
system.
WOI-LOCATION Alpha 5
Location Code This field contains a valid stock
location within the company inventory.
It is also the production facility
where finished goods are produced.
WOI-WORK-ORDER Numeric 8
Work Order This field identifies the work order
and may be automatically assigned or
manually assigned, depending on the
option defined for each production
(inventory) location.
WOI-WORK-ORDER-SUF Numeric 2
Work Order Suf This field will normally be zero for a
work order. If you chose to split a
work order so the completed part of the
finished goods can be available for
allocation, the work order created for
the remaining quantity will have a
non-zero value in this field.
WOI-COMPONENT-SEQ Numeric 3
Component Sequence The component sequence number is the
Number order in which this component is added
to the finished good during the
production process.
WOI-COMPONENT-TYPE Alpha 1
Component Type The component type specifies whether
the component is an inventory component
used in the production of the finished
good, a packaging item, or an offsite
item.
C = Component
P = Packaging
O = Offsite Component

Item Number This field contains the item identifier
of the component, as defined in the
Inventory Control system.
WOI-INV-LOCATION Alpha 5
Inventory Location This field contains the location from
which inventory is taken.

Plan Qty This field contains the planned
quantity for an item for a work order.
WOI-ACTUAL-QTY Signed 13.4
Actual Qty This is the actual quantity of the
component used to make the finished
goods for this work order.

Act Ctw Qty This is the actual catch weight
quantity of the component used to make
the finished goods for this work order.

Picked Quantity This is the quantity of the component
that was picked for the work order.

Detail Qty This field shows the total quantity of
details defined for a detail tracked
item. It is matched against the line
quantity field to determine if details
are in balance.

Catch Weight This is the catch weight quantity of
Quantity the component that was picked for the
work order.

Dtl Ctw Qty This field is not currently used by the
Work Order system.

Wst Acct Unit The waste account unit is part of the
account where the cost of components
that were wasted during the work order
production process are posted. The cost
of wasted components are not included in
the cost of the finished good.

account where the cost of the components
that were wasted during the work order
production process are posted. The cost

production process and was not used in
the finished good.

Est Comp Cost This is the estimated unit cost of the
component.

Act Comp Cost This is the actual unit cost of
components that were not picked but were
consumed, that is, used in the finished
good or wasted. This field will be zero
if the picked quantity is greater than
the sum of the actual quantity and the
waste quantity.

Picked Cost This is the unit cost for components
that were picked.
WOI-TOT-ACT-COST Signed 13.5
Tot Act Cost This is the extended cost of the
components used to make the finished
goods for this work order. The cost of
any wasted components is not included in
this field.

Tot Waste Cost This is the extended cost of components
that were wasted during the production
process for this work order. This cost
is not included in the inventory costs
of the finished good produced.
WOI-QTY-TOL-PCT Percent 5.3 (Percent)
Qty Tol Pct This field contains the quantity
tolerance percent of the component.
WOI-ZERO-QTY-FL Alpha 1
Zero Qty Fl The zero quantity tolerance flag is
used to indicate if zero tolerance is
allowed for the component on this work
order. This field is loaded from the
component definition on the finished
good template when the component is
added to the work order through work
order explosion or another entry method.

WOI-WALK-THRU-REQ Alpha 1
Walk Thru Req This field indicates that a transaction
line is out of balance. For example,
if lot, bin, or serial number quantities
do not equal the transaction quantity,
select the WalkThru form action to
balance the transaction quantities.
WOI-DISP-INV-LOC Derived
Disp Inv Loc The system displays a string that
contains inventory location
(INV-LOCATION) preceded by a label for
the inventory location.
WOI-DISP-LOCATION Derived
Disp Location The system displays a conditional field
that will contain display inventory
location (DISP-INV-LOC) if the value of
inventory location (INV-LOCATION) is
different than location (LOCATION).

associated with the production of
