AC110 - Activity Copy
Run Activity Copy (AC110) to copy an existing activity and then make
modifications to customize the new activity. When copying activities, you
can use one of the following options:
- copying one activity at a time, using Run Activity Copy (AC110)
- copying multiple activities at one time, using Copy Activities
(AC11.1) to define a run group, and then Activity Copy (AC110)
- copying multiple activities with automatic naming and addressing,
using Mass Activity Copy (AC01.1) to define a run group, and then Activity
Copy (AC110)
If you type a to activity group that does not exist, the program defines
it with the same parameters as the activity group associated with the from
activity, and then adds the new activity. AC110 also lets you copy account
category and General Ledger account assignments, and period of performance
information, if needed.
If you are using Grant Management, you can use the POP Date or POP Template
field on the Options tab to copy period of performance information to a new
activity. This is particularly useful if you are creating a new activity for
the next year of a grant.
