We are trying to determine if we should upgrade or re-implement when we move from 9 to 10.  Has anyone decided to do a re-implementation rather than an upgrade   What were your reasons behind this  

We are currently using Lawson 9.0.0. We are planing to upgrade from 9.0.0 to 9.0.1 or 10 or 11 (not decided yet) beginning in march. As you know 9.0.0 is expiring in MAY 2016. Background on the situation. Staff were in a PTO plan that allowed them to earn up to 1000 hours of time off. I think this is difficult to test for proper set up until we receive the final BN299 for the 1094 file creation. As of the first of the year, we closed an EIN. However, some steps were missed so hours and dollars were charged to this EIN. We are going to be changing our sup life insurance plan from salary multiples to increments of 10000.  Is the best approach to just create a new plan For age reduction (I know it can't be attached to plans with increments), I am guessing that it is best to set up a separate plan for the employees over age 70

Confirm understanding of the PR82 intent. It is my understanding that PR82 is used to adjust records behind the scenes, for W2's and finance and that these adjustments do not impact the employee's pay check. Questions:  1. Am I correct in my understanding  2. When pulling deductions for a regular payroll, do you include check type 'J' so the adjustment is included I would think no because the intent of the PR82 is not to impact the employees pay check or deduction amount.  3....

We have a pre-tax HSA election for associates and currently we only use one bank.   I have been asked to research options to allow associates to assign their pre-tax HSA so that it is processed with different banks.    Is anyone doing this with Lawson   If so how are you collecting the account information and how are you processing this with the banks
