Currently, we are in the process of moving to 9.0 environment only.   We use ESS for our benefits enrollment process.    When testing benefit enrollment , the process goes well until 'keep these benefits' is selected as the final step.  At that point, we get the error message 'Value not in list: A.'  Has anyone else ever gotten this error message and, if so, what was the solution   Thank you.

We are a ISeries AS/400 client that has just upgraded from Law7 to Law9. When on Law7 we were able to upload time records by having the data in a sequential file (PR530X) and running PR530 in a CL program and the upload would happen. This no longer is true. We now have the data in the IFS as prescribed but the PR530 within the CL program goes into a neverending semaphore wait. We are forced to complete our upload by using LID or Portal (PR530). Is anyone using Lawson Security for HCM  I have developed an RM structure to limit user access to employees in specific process levels using ***isStructNodeTitleAbove('xxxStructure',PROCESS_LEVEL,user.getAttribute('xxxx'))***.  This works beautifully for the application and drills involving the 'Employee' or 'PAEmployee' (etc) files.  However, when I drill on a benefit plan or a deduction, the drill returns values for all employees even though the employee name and number are blank.  Has anyone...

I'm trying to learn from recsum.htm and paytyear.htm and I'm having problems. The issue is when I make a call that returns multiple records, then I want to display each field in a table. We're getting ready to stop giving elec remit advice on paychecks and force everyone to use ESS.  The only problem, you can't see the time accrual data per check. We are in the middle of a semi monthly process, period ending 2/15/08 with a check date of 2/15/08 and the TA170 job is accruing for both 2/15/08 and for 2/29/08. I have double checked the time record dates and all have a date of 2/15. The only date that I can find that is not in the current period of 2/1 - 2/15 is when I drill on the time records, there is a work end date of 2/16. Has anybody had any experience with loading employees with a position attached via HR511 and seeing the default values for the position populated I know of a few work arounds to get my result, but I am wondering if anybody has ever seen this work (not sure that it's 'design' but I have heard reports of this working and other reports indicating it doesn't work) Thanks, -mc

Pr160 Laser Check Print file for 8.1 and not sure what all the time accrual fields mean. We include beginning balances on our checks and they are incorrect, we originally thought the TA-BEG-BAL is what we needed but it didn’t work so we created a custom calculation and it is not working. We are currently getting ready to move to 9.0LSf env. using 8.03 apps. Our current tax program requires us to send a file to them by Dec 21st for the current tax yr for viewing. My problem is I will not have a true system to pull them from until Jany 7th 2008 and that is to late.
