GL300 - General Ledger History Delete

Run GL300 (General Ledger History Delete) to delete historical journal entry
transactions, comments, consolidation records, and budgets for a fiscal year.
General Ledger history must be at least two years old before this program
deletes it. You can delete all record types at once or each type separately.

This program creates a report showing the total number of header,
transaction, and budget lines deleted.

Deleted records are removed from the General Ledger database and archived in
a comma separated value (CSV) file.

Updated Files

    CKPOINT    - Used for restart capability.

    CUAMOUNT   - Posting account period currency balances are deleted by this
                 program.


    CUAMOUNTX  - Updates daily report currency account balances.

    FBDETAIL   - Posting account budget period balances are deleted by this
                 program.


    FBDTLHIST  - This file stores the budget detail version information.

    FBHEADER   - Year budgets are deleted by this program

    FBHISTHDR  - This file stores the budget header information for a version.

    GLAMOUNTS  - Posting account period balances are deleted by this program.

    GLAMOUNTSX - The General Ledger Amounts-Daily file contains daily account
                 balances by accounting unit, account, and subaccount for the
                 date specified.


    GLCOMMENT  - Journal entry comments are deleted by this program.

    GLCONSOL   - Consolidated account period balances are deleted by this
                 program.


    GLCONTROL  - Journal entries are deleted by this program.

    GLTRANS    - Journal entry transactions are deleted by this program.

    GLUNITS    - Posting account period unit balances are deleted by this
                 program.


    GTMXVALUE  - Journal entry transaction attribute values are deleted by this
                 program.


    MXOBJCAT   - Attribute usage counts are updated to reflect deleted
                 attribute values.
