GL324 - GLAMOUNTS Validation

Use GL324 (GLAMOUNTS Validation) to transfer valid accounts that exist in the
General Ledger Transaction (GLTRANS) file to the General Ledger Amounts-Period
(GLAMOUNTS) file. The system does not create duplicate records.

This program must be run before GL325 (GLAMOUTNS File Rebuild).


Updated Files

    CKPOINT    - Used for restart capability.

    GLAMOUNTS  - Used to access posting account balances.

    GLUNITS    - This file is updated with posting account unit balances.


Referenced Files

    GLADDRESS  - This file is accessed by a common routine used by this
                 program.  This file is not used by this program.


    GLCHART    - This file is accessed by a common routine used by this
                 program.  This file is not used by this program.


    GLSYSTEM   - Used to validate the existence of a company.

    GLTRANS    - This file is updated with recurring journal entry transactions.
