APUDISTCD FILE This file stores the user analysis values defined for transactions. The values represent information your organization can use to measure profitability. Data is written to this file as you create or maintain transactions. After you release the transactions in the Accounts Payable system, complete the Strategic Ledger processing cycle to analyze profitability. UDS-DIST-CODE Alpha 9 AP05.3 Distribution Code A user-defined code used to automatically create expense distributions or expense distribution "shells" for invoices or to split an invoice distribution into multiple distributions. UDS-SEQ-NBR Numeric 4 AP05.3 Sequence Number An automatically assigned sequence number. UDS-SEGMENT-BLOCK Alpha 103 AP05.3 User Analysis This field identifies the user analysis values included in the transaction. You can either type up to four values or use Define (F6) to open the User Analysis Entry subform. Use this subform to select the user analysis values you want to include in the transaction. If you choose to type values, use commas to separate them. For example: value1,value2,value3,value4 There are three conditions that affect how you can select user analysis values.
