PAPREREQ FILE
Course Prerequisites
Contains prerequisite information for each course. Four kinds of
prerequisites can be defined: courses, skills, service requirements, and group
membership. The Registration Information file references this file when
employees are registered into sessions on TR20.1 (Session Registration).
TR02.1 (Course Prerequisites) is the primary program that updates this file.

Prerequisite Type Indicates the type of prerequisite.
CS = Course
EG = Employee Group
SK = Skill
SV = Service
RQS-PREREQUISITE Alpha 10 TR02.1
Prerequisite Contains the course, skill, or employee
group.
RQS-COMPANY Numeric 4 TR02.1
Company Contains the company number if the
prerequisite is an employee group.
RQS-EFFECTIVE-DATE Numeric 8 (yyyymmdd) TR02.1
Start Date Contains the date the prerequisite is
effective.
RQS-DATE-TYPE Alpha 2 TR02.1
Date Type Contains the type of date on which
service calculations should be measured.
AJ = Adjusted Hire Date
AN = Anniversary Date
HI = Hire Date
SN = Seniority Date
RQS-DATE-MEASURE Numeric 3 TR02.1
Length Contains the amount of time the
employee must wait before taking the
course, if the prerequisite is a service
requirement. The time is measured from
the value entered in the Date Type
field.
RQS-UNIT-TYPE Alpha 1 TR02.1
Length/Unit of Time Indicates the unit of time in which the
service requirement is measured.
D = Days
M = Months
Y = Years
RQS-REQUIRED-FLAG Alpha 1 TR02.1
Required Indicates whether the prerequisite is
required.
Y = Yes
N = No
RQS-END-DATE Numeric 8 (yyyymmdd) TR02.1
Stop Date Contains the ending date for the
prerequisite.
