We upgraded EDI and the very next minute, Fax integrator stop sending email notifications to the buyers. I honestly don't see how these 2 products could be related but then again with Lawson, you never know. I looked in the ios.log and also fax integrator log and saw nothing or no errors.

Is security setup for the login being used to update the status?

It has been almost a month and we are still haven't been able to figure out the problem. For some weird reason, the system is telling the Fax integrator to use the LOGAN product line and not the actual production line. Lawson doesn't seem to know why.

Check the password of the user you have set on the Portal tab of the Servers page in Fax Integrator. The error you pasted above is one I saw when our user ended up on a password expiration schedule and the new password wasn't updated in Fax Integrator. When it can't update the purchase order, it doesn't send the email. It is possible that when EDI was upgraded someone changed the password which would cause this problem.

this issue has been resolved. They fax integrator issue was not related to the EDI upgrade at all. It happened to be a problem with the the fax login account is setup to data area LOGAN instead of PROD9.
