Hello - We will soon be going live with RQC & when ordering with a Lawson number, Cost Option is read only.  Sometimes this will need to be changed to No Charge.  Is there a Company setting I need to flip?  Thanks.

I don't allow my users to do so - I think the only way is to change the requester setting on RQ04 to allow them to override any price agreement. How do they do it on RQ10 now?

Hi Kat - Today in RQ10 everyone can choose a cost option, even if the RQ04 override is N. Our RQ10 is heavily modified so that may be part of the mod. For RQC I changed the override under my RQ04 to Y & now I can choose a cost option. There's another user that can do the same in RQC but her override=N. Weird. So how do your users order a Lawson number at no charge for consignment? Is that done on the PO side?

the initial no-charge consignment is brought in as a manual PO. The buyer is allowed to override. The lawson items are then tied to price files with cost. At one point there were items tied to the same vendor with different purch froms. The first purch from had no cost and the second had a cost. Now I wonder if was for this scenario and was abandoned prior to my arrival in favor of "make the buyer do it"

If the end users RQ04 record is set so that Allow Unit Cost Override: From Vendor Agreements = Y and From Last PO or Last Cost = Y they should be able to choose the cost option in RQC for anything other than inventory. If only From Last PO or Last Cost = Y, they should be able to choose the cost option for anything other than inventory and nonstock tied to an active agreement.
