Document Management and Avaap's AttachIt

There's been some interest here that product.  Have you learned more or had any experience with it. 

After looking into it we decided it wouldn't work for us.  You could only attach documents one at a time which would be a step backward from our current process.  We don't attach documents in Lawson yet but we do scan, index and store batches of documents to a local server.

We have Attach It. We bought it for RQC - AVAAP put it on our custom Inbasket approval screen.  Our dba figured out how to get it onto RQ10 and PO20.

It essentially adds a very simple browse and add button to your screen and creates the URL to your server - allowing anyone with enough skill to attach something to an email to create attachments on your form.

It's not robust by any stretch.  As stated, you can only load one at a time.  It has no method of checking the content of the attachment and has no way of requiring attachments.

But letting people add the proof copy of their business cards or attaching the admin approved form for the leaky pipe has more than paid for the product.  We use it for our Bill Only's as well.

Adding Attachments to Requisitions.pdf apparently there was a browser issue.  I don't think anyone else needed this, I just wanted to see if it worked now.
