EDI v9 to v10

    We are currently running on v9 of Lawson and are in the process of upgrading to v10 in the Cloud.  We've tested EDI orders with three vendors and only one has worked correctly with no issues.  The second one is a mapping change on the vendor's end.  The third we are waiting to hear back but they received the PO on their server, but not into their system and they are trying to determine why.

    Did anyone else encounter issues, not necessarily the PO's getting to GHX (we've had zero issues with that), but the vendors being able to receive/accept the PO's into their own system?

      I find this puzzling, at least at my level of experience. I have always been under the impression that Lawson EDI need only be configured for GHX (when the vendors are in GHX at least) making vendor setups pretty much identical in many ways. Before we went to GHX a few years ago, every vendor had their own setups and mapping and so forth, but all of that went away when we moved our EDI to GHX. If the transactions you are sending show up properly in GHX online but aren't getting into vendors' systems, I'd take that issue up with GHX as their system is sending the transactions which aren't making it into the vendors' systems. I'd bet they have experience with this issue.

        We had to change our process map going from v9 to v10 - there was an issue with some translation for the SHIP_TO vs DEPT. But GHX or Infor should be able to tell you that.
