We are currently full EDI with Grainger and we also use their 'Keep Stock' program. (This is where they have a rep that comes into the hospital and take stock of what is on-hand to let us know what needs to be ordered each week.)
We want to move to punchout with Grainger using EDI outbound and inbound but do not necessarily want to give up the 'Keep Stock' functionality. I was wondering if anyone else is using both the Keep Stock program for Grainger and Punchout to elimiate multiple user touches on each weekly order.
We do this! We setup a punchout connection per dock and gave each it's own punchout template to connect. So if I'm tied to Grainger Regional it knows vs Grainger JDCH. At that point - the keep stock works as designed. User logs into RQC, updates GL info on the profile and goes to the Grainger website. They click the KeepStock link and put in their Keep Stock order and submit the cart.
Release the req and it goes to PO and transmits back EDI. User one-sheet instruction attached.
Grainger should be able to find Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, FL and be able to work with you to make a connection in a similar manner.
