The topic of Lawson's Clinical Bridge interfaces with Epic has come up a few times recently so I wanted to get feedback from other customers on it and what benefits you get from it.
Today, we have a custom interface that updates item information for use in OpTime. We don't get anything returned back from Epic related to items. For Revenue and Patient Refunds, we have extracts built in Epic and then file transfer and import scripts to bring them to Lawson on a regular basis for processing. The Refund process also has a sql script to send information back to Epic after the payment is created.
One other piece we're going to start soon is to implement Point of Use in our Cath Lab and IR. So there will be the interfaces related to that going in for Epic.
Does anyone have any experience with moving from custom interfaces to the Clinical Bridges? Or information on benefits you've received from using the Clinical Bridge?
