We are exploring the option of absence plan payouts by % - depending on an employees length of stay at time of termination (i.e. 0% for less than 1 year, 25% for under 2 years). Has anyone done this and how was it accomplished?
Thanks

I am curious to see the responses you get as we pay ours out manually. Our employees get one more check after their final check wtih their PTO payout on it.

We normally run the LP130 but that has no option for percentage - it is all, or only current cycle

We have a plan that gets a percentage paid out. It is done manually using a special pay code that only decrements the plan. The seperate pay code also allows us to carve out those hours/dollars when doing statistical reports.

Colleen - we recently started running the LP130 and have a question. The LP130 records a Transaction Type 63 LP130 Transaction which is a positive number.
The employee's balance shows as 0. If the Master End Date is removed from LP31 and LP140 is run with Retroactive accruals, it puts a negative Transaction Type 61 PTO Payout on the LP64 for the same amount as the LP130 Transaction. Since the Employee's balance is 0, does the employee's balance become negative when LP197 is run? This is the first encounter with someone that doesn't have a master end date but we need to know because anyone that rehires would have the same issue.
