We would like to insert instructions in each of the Lawson Personnel Actions pages.

Example: Under the update button on the termination page, insert organization-specific policy information.

Is this possible? Would it invalidate the support agreement?

Are you referring to the ESS/MSS pages?

Manager Self Service > Direct Reports > Personnel Actions > "Select a Personnel Action" > Continue.

We would like to add text beneath each of the personnel action forms. Termination form would have unique text. Bonus form would have unique text. Etc.

Does this help clarify my question?

Yes, that does clarify it. The supported customization option is to update the "tips" help file installed with ESS/MSS associated with personnel actions. The "tips" panel is displayed when the user clicks on the question mark icon at the top right of the ESS/MSS form. To add text directly on the action form would require customization of the actual form, and would not be supported.

That is encouraging! If I click on the "?" while the Termination form displays, can it display different information than if the "?" was clicked when the Bonus form is displayed?

We did the same thing. We added some customer specific text on ESS/MSS pages at the bottom. You need to Add the text in the ESS/MSS java script file. Thats needs to be manually added. The Javascripts files are under $WEBDIR and then you need to got to xhrnet directory. If you want to know the exact file here is a trick sometimes it works. Right click on the form in which you want to add(I mean link)then choose the option "open in the new tab" and after opening in the new window just check the address bar. You may get the exact file name mentioned at the address bar at the bottom of which you need to eneter the text. Just give it a try !!!!!!

Thanks for the tip! I'll see if our HRIS dept goes for it. :)
