Does anyone know where the system might hold history of ESS changes to beneficiary elections? I need to see past beneficicary elections but Lawson does not effective date and end date the records. They just overwrite the current record and the past record disappears.

Shane - what version are you working with? On 8.1 apps, the BENEFICRY table holds date/time stamps for last changes, along with user ID

I saw that but I need the change log... Since it overwrites the previous value I can't see the previous values...

So far it looks like Lawson does not log changes to history.

Sorry Shane - just able to test it through to completion, and it appears that you're right - changes AREN'T stored. Why the date/time/user stamp, I don't know.

For our organization, all changes made in ESS will pass to our electronic personnel file. So, each time an employee makes a beneficiary change, for example, it will reflect as a "page" in their personnel file, time and date stamped.
Granted, you can't see the history in Lawson (which would be nice), but at least we can recreate history in Sovera (our imaging system).
