BN106 834 Translator

    I don't see any recent posts on this topic - does anyone have a recommendation for an EDI translator to create HIPAA 834 files?

      Hi Mary,  I believe this is still a good approach; and I know clients currently using it.  I'm about to start several interface/carrier feeds using this program in the very near future.  If you'd like, I can report back on how it's going.  Just now doing the initial setup so I haven't gotten to the point of creating the actual files to the carriers.

            Minor mods to BN106 + a post BN106 process that takes the output of BN106 and formats it as needed for each carrier. Not pretty, but it works.

              are you using process flow integrator or ipa?
              datastage tx / mercator?

                John - were you asking me or Ragu ? We have IPA and we are going to try to get 834 files done with IPA this summer but if anyone has any examples of an 834 using IPA and is willing to share their learnings we would be grateful.

                  BN106 does not generate the ISA and GS segment. These segments are required by BCBSMA. Does anyone has solutions for this? I am also looking for EDI ready translator.
