Recently took over BSI when an employee left the company 'unexpectedly'.  Zero training nor prior knowledge of BSI.  I have many questions but will keep them simple for now.  I need help installing Cyclic Updates.  We are several cyclics behind current release. I have read installation guides but still have questions.

I have logged into MyBSIConnect website and downloaded the cyclics that I need.  There is a cyclic installation file, a SQL database file update, and a .nrq data file.  In what order do these get installed?

I have not seen any instructions on how to install the SQL database file update.  Is there any?  Also, how do you know if this has already been installed?

How do I get installation password on old cyclics?  I did not get the email notice from old ones.  I did for cyclic O.

    More questions to come.

The most important thing to know is that you only need to apply the most recent cyclic. Unlike regulatories which all have to be applied in order, cyclica can be skipped and applying the last cyclic is cumulative. There are instructions on the BSI website. Review all of the links on the cyclic page and also look at their documentation / help area.

Ok, on that front. If a regulatory bulletin says it is for cyclic M, I must have cyclic M or higher. Can I jump from Cyclic L to O and then install regulatory bulletins for Cyclic M (in order of course)?

Yes, you can apply the latest cyclic.  You don't need to incrementally apply each one.
