ESS: Display more than 12 months of paychecks

Checkout E-Stub (https:www.onlinewagestatements.com). We've been using them since 2009. Our "ESS>Pay" bookmark links directly to their site. My statement history goes back to 2009 to when we went live with them. They also maintain our W2's, so I can grab W2's back to 2009 also.

E-Stub gives you another option besides MHC.

MHC is our answer, currently have over 3 years of paystubs available to over 28,000 employees.   We also use the Electronic W2 for all of our employees.   Lawson's standard paystub did not have enought details for our employees, that is what drove us to MHC.    Hope that helps. 

Thank you both for your input. We've already seen MHC's demos but I'll look at E-Stub too.

We changed the html / js to pull more than a year. Worked fine with minimal custom coding. Depending on your environment version you should be able to change the code - I will look at the lines we changed.

Thanks Shane. We're on Windows 9.1.7 right now but we are in the process of migrating to Unix 9.1.11 - so I probably would need to wait until the migration is over
to implement. But I think that EMSS might be ready for us to start testing now, so if you could find the lines that you changed I would be able to check it out. I figured
it must be possible.

Let me start by saying this is what we did and it is NOT supported by Lawson or me. Make sure you test this and only have changes like this done by a qaulified developer. So ... with that out of the way - here is what we did…

Created a copy of paychecks.htm and called it paychecks1.htm and created a copy of paytyear.htm and called it paytyear1.htm (probably could have used better naming. Also, if you want this to be the only paycheck version you could just modify the existing paytyear.htm. We wanted to leave Lawson delivered coding untouched.) Remember that the lines numbers will be different in your version so I am just getting you close...

paycheck1.htm:
Modifed code around line 37 that says

Used this instead:
-- self.main.location.replace("/lawson/xhrnet/paytyear1.htm?from=main");

paytyear1.htm
Modified code around line 32 – Set this variable:

This means it looks back to 1/1/2000 (our go live date with Lawson)

Then you would change the "Pay Checks" bookmark to open the new bookmark link of "paychecks1.htm"... Good luck

Thanks Shane! we're going to try it with our new Unix system.

We have the Year to Date bookmark turned on. We can pull up payments from 2005 forward simply by clicking on the year and then clicking on Payment details. All of the checks for that year will then display. No customization- straight out of the box.

Ashby we saw that we could do that but it's not really all that intuitive at least for our employees, so we wanted to make the modifications to the Pay checks instead
so that employees could find them easily without having to call anyone to ask how to get them. I'm still waiting to try Shane's suggestions.
