Lawson 9.0.1 - Form Table Help

    I am trying to figure out which table holds the data from PA57.2 - Personnel Action by Reason Code.  When I look at the form tips and tricks, PA57.2 is not listed.

    Any thoughts on which table this is held on?

      Kelly,

      I looked up PA57.2 thru GENDOC and it shows:

      PAACTREAS, PERSACTYPE, and PRSYSTEM

      Now if you're looking for other Personnel Action tables, look at PERSACTION (pending actions), PERSACTHST (action history).

          Kelly,
          Did you try accessing the screen through portal and doing a ctrl+shift+o to see the field name in the lower left hand corner? I can usually take that and look through the application text from laenv to find the tables and fields I am looking for. Hope that helps.

            Thanks everyone. I have a heck of a time finding that GENDOC on Mylawson and the one here on Lawson Guru doesnt list this form.

            Lisa - we are on portal 9.0.1 and I dont have the table PAACTREAS avaible. That sounds like the one I really need. I am not pulling the data from the employee's record, I want a list from the form.

            riegerj - where would I find the application text from laenv?

              If you happen to have the Lawson Addin for excel finding data item location in the tables is quite easy.

              If you use the crtl+Shift+o that riegerj talks about it tells you an abreviated code for the table as well as the field name.

              If you open the addin query wizaer ther is a small box labled table prefix translation where you enter the 3 Char table code and it displays the table name in the adjacent field.
              As an example you want to know where the employees birthdate lives you go to that field and hit ctrl+shift+o you get PEM-BIRTHDATE go to addins on the fields tab and type PEM in the table perfix translation box and you see that it is stored in the PAEMPLOYEE Table. I have only found a few tables not in the tansation box.

                It says CRE-REASON-CODE when I do the ctrl+shift+o in the reason field. But can't find a correlating table to CRE. I dont have Addins set up.

                  Kelly, we had to get permission to the table after we went to apps 9.0.1 (we are also on portal 9.0.1).

                    Yesterday may have been a long day! I just looked again to make sure and now I see it. Thanks everyone for your help!
