My organization is looking at what it would take (if possible) to execute the payroll processes during an unplanned downtime of Infor/Lawson.
I am looking to see if anyone else has had this question come up or if anyone is using a downtime payroll process that they could share with me.
We were able to come up with a plan with MHC/Document Express. They were very helpful. The plan was to pay a % of a previous net pay amount and treat it as an advance. That way, when the system came back we could apply the "advance" and taxes would work out. Additionally deductions could be considered.
