Performance Mgt

For our needs (and that means BASIC) - we're actually going to be using out of the box Lawson - just literally starting to roll on now. The goal view option (available beginning in app v8.1), the ability to interface to Image Now, using MSS/ESS etc. all together meet our needs - not to mention it really will adhere to the KISS method - much needed in this environment. It's certainly not fancy and doesn't have all of the bells and whistles that other true PM software packages contain, but it's not costing us anything except our time at this point. We previously used Softscape here, but I have to say, it was a nightmare. Not to say that the software package itself wasn't what caused the issues - I'm sure we were the root of many of our nightmares, since as a group, we can't seem to please anyone, much less the majority.....

what are you looking for in a 3rd party system? What specific tasks would you expect the system to perform?
