Termination reasons voluntary or involuntary

    On PA57.1 you setup your termination reason codes but there is not a flag to identify the termination as voluntary or involuntary.

    Does anybody have suggestions on how we could set this up?

    I thought we might have to add something like (VOL)/(INVOL) to the description but I would like to know if there is a better way.

    We are on version 10.0.1.

      We actually add it as part of our code i.e. :  12VY stands for Personal Voluntary Yes (eligible for rehire) and 12IN is Personal Involuntary No (not eligible for rehire)

        Hello Steve, you are on the right track. Anyway you look at it Terminations are either Voluntary or Involuntary. Best case scenario is is to create those as reason codes PA57.
        You can always create a user filed as Eligible for Rehire valid values of Yes or No
