w2's for tax year 2007

We are currently getting ready to move to 9.0LSf env. using 8.03 apps. Our current tax program requires us to send a file to them by Dec 21st for the current tax yr for viewing. My problem is I will not have a true system to pull them from until Jany 7th 2008 and that is to late. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I can run a sample file from out new test prod env. using our 8.03 apps . That will be the env. and application that our true w'2 information will come fom to print 1099's and w'2s.
If any one has any great ideas I would appreciate them.
