Hi - I did this back at my old job (that had Lawson V8 - we're on V10 here where I am now).  I want to print SMALL labels using data from ITEMMAST.  The labels are only 2.5 " x 1".  The way I did this in the past was I set the labels up in the .prt file for the custom program, made sure they lined up and then ran the program to generate the .prt file and send that to the printer.  I remember the one issue was, in V8 anyways, you couldn't bypass the banner page so that was wasted label stock.

Has anyone printed labels like this via a custom batch program?  There may be other ways to do it - but right now, due to the time crunch, it's my only option to do it.  I'm sure there must be a way to do it using PF, but I'm fairly new to that and just don't have the time to learn it and get this done at the same time.

Thoughts?  Suggestions?  Thanks so much in advance.  - Laura

Many years back, I had a custom program that generated a csv file, imported into Access and generated labels from there. Also, pretty sure there is a way of manipulating the workdef/PD/,rptfiles and splitting it so the parameter page appears in one file and the data in another.
