Hey friends, I am getting the following message in ProcessFlow Designer 9.0.1.4 - Unable to communicate with ProcessFlow RMI Server. I checked out myLawson knowledgebase Article ID:5353943 and no help.

I am unsure of the server side settings since our admin handles those, but has anyone else has this issue and how did you resolve?

In the aboe Article, we confirm the xml via the http://your.web.server.com/bpm/daservlet address (with our server) and now just need some ideas of quick places to look to fix this. The admins have access, but the developers do not and get the RMI error when trying to upload/download to/from server.

If anyone can help, please let me know. Thanks!

We typically get that message when the pflow server isn't running, or when we aren't using the correct user on the General tab of the Designer login.

To see if the server is running, you can go to command-line and type "pfserv ping all". It will return the status of the services.

The user on the General tab must be a PFAdmin/PFIAdmin in Pflow Administration. Also be sure you have the correct host, username, and password.

      Good Luck.
